my picture Name: Alex Bishop-Thorpe
Born: July 18th, 1989, South Australia
Residence: South Australia, Australia
Gender: Male
Occupation: Joker

Photography is my thing, it's what I do and what I know - but first and foremost, I am a bit of an odd fellow. I'm told I'm incredibly laid back, and my relaxed expression hides the incredible knowledge that resides inside my mind. Or I'm thinking of a new way to combine nachos and pasta.
If you see me about I usually have my Nikon FM2n slung over my shoulder, my rusty old coat, jeans and grey beanie on. Every now and then I put a new shirt on. Or if I'm in Alaska, I'll never take off my thermal and you can live with black. I always have interesting things in my pockets, and three to twelve rolls of film on me. I have a scar with a good story behind it, things in my hat, and wanderlust.
I shoot film because I like it, and a digital camera killed my pa and stole our cattle.

Personal Comments:

"Alex's photography is moving and more beautiful then words can describe. Turning simple things into magnifecent things, imperfections into perfections and always leaves you guessing 'What will he do next?'"
- Kat Elliott

"Is that a Hasselblad?"
- CJ Wilson

"Your beanie is lilac love, no matter how many times you tell yourself it's grey."
- Jasmine Hennings
